Enterprise Ireland – Living Lab Cluster
The Green Way cluster programme, supported by Enterprise Ireland, will deliver discrete test-beds for clean technologies, services and processes across a number of targeted themes. These test-beds will be within the asset base of The Green Way and presents an opportunity for Dublin to become a civic laboratory and opportunity for SMEs to validate their products in a “Living Lab”.
There are three strands to the programme which will each contribute to the establishment of the Dublin region as an international leader in enabling innovation.
- Networking/collaboration between consortium members to promote development of new ideas and opportunities. This will be a platform for peer-to peer learning and knowledge transfer between MNCs with SMEs through regular, structured events.
- Development of a living lab methodology – a blueprint on how companies can engage and utilise the asset base of a living lab.
- Demonstration of the model via examplar projects. Each company has the potential to contribute to and benefit from these demonstration projects. Using the asset base of The Green Way founding members, this consortium will demonstrate collaborative projects that applies each organisation’s technology/service offering. The exemplar projects will answer a question/solve a problem (or part thereof) that currently exists within the business
